
There’s a silent conversation going on in the minds of most real estate investors.
It goes something like this:
“I want to buy my next property now, but unfortunately I have to wait…”
Wait for what? we might ask.
“For my credit to tick up a few points.”
“For me to finish saving up a bit more for a down payment.”
“For my Debt-to-Income to get back into balance, so I can qualify for the loan.”
“For interest rates to go down.”
These are all things many of us have thought and felt.
We might chalk it up to “being realistic” or “being responsible,” but the truth is, feeling this way SUCKS.
It sucks because it we want to buy a property NOW, but we feel like we can’t. Like we’re not in control of our own destiny.
Personally, I NEVER want to feel like I not in control of my own destiny.
And I don’t want my coaching clients to either. In fact, from my perspective, that’s what I’m truly and actually helping them to do:
To get to the point where they are never NOT in control of their own destiny.
If they want to buy a property, they can buy a property–it’s within their control.
But to do this, we MUST have an acquisition strategy that puts the control back in our hands.
One that doesn’t depend on ANYONE other than the Seller saying YES.
No banks to say yes. No realtors to say yes. No appraisers. No partners.
Nobody but the Seller.
Because while we can’t control the Seller, we can use our skills and talents–which are well within our control to develop and hone–to work toward agreement and get that YES we need.
