As I write this post, I’m sitting on a plane en route to Las Vegas, for the 2016 Entrepreneurial All-Star Intensive event put on by my friends and mentors at The Cor Company. I’ve been invited to speak this year, delivering a 50-minute presentation on branding for real estate entrepreneurs, called “Honing Your Secret Weapon: Harness Your Brand to Create a Competitive Advantage in Real Estate.”
This is the second time I’ve had the honor of delivering a presentation on the topic of branding this year (in May I spoke to the Omaha Real Estate Investors Association). It’s pretty neat to have the opportunity to bridge my “first” career in branding and marketing with my second career in real estate. Originally I didn’t realize there was much of a connection between the two, but it’s been refreshing and invigorating to draw the parallels and connections between the two. I look forward to sharing my thoughts with the group, and to writing further posts elaborating on many of the points in my presentation.
